Lovingly
Her husband glanced lovingly,
Whether in private or publicly.
Wrapping her in deep affection,
In his eyes a constant reflection.
Of the care and respect held for her,
Often expressed openly on the spur.
His demeanor never once changed,
Affection constant and unchanged.
They were together fifty plus years,
Their example brings touching tears.
A legacy of love from the heart,
An example to all they impart.
That is so beautiful ❤️
Thank you.
Yes, beautiful Phyllis ????
Thank you so much 🙂
Your welcome, I loved it ????
Lovely!
Awesome
Thank you.
My pleasure!
I love this one. You must have a good example of this in your family.
Unfortunately not. It is however what I wished for. Thank you, it’s a great compliment.
It is if I maybe so bold, the look I see on your face, and the kind of person you are, and most likely how you treat your wife, it’s in your face, the caring look when you were with the wee one and with your wife. It’s in the picture of you on the cover of your book. It’s how you strike me, and others I converse with regularly.
It is exactly how I look at my wife. She is the world to me. I am so fortunate, that it is hard to put into words. That is why your poem moved me so much.
I thought as much. How touching is this, to know someone feels that way about his wife. I’m happy, for both of you.
This was the best that I could do: https://charlesewaugh.com/2016/12/02/what-is-love/
