Bumble

Bumble

We bumble around looking for phrases

As we look upon those delicate faces

To reassure those that we love

Things will be better assure them thereof

That although life can turn on a dime

Often without reason or rhyme

The pain they are feeling is temporary

Has them off balance and feeling wary

A lifetime packed into a moment

Leaving them sensitive, frozen

The mountain they climb seems unending

But they will reach the summit while mending

The struggle to overcome that

Which has temporarily laid them flat

Will give way to better times

With happy memories filling a lifetime

And this blip on the radar of life

Will be fleeting although cuts like a knife

Shall become but a stepping stone

Reminding them they are never alone

One foot placed in front of the other

Positive determined filled with wonder
