As he held me tight everything
Inside me felt light, dancing
Though there was no music
My thoughts no longer lucid
We moved we swayed and dipped
As cross the dance floor we skipped
A myriad of stars lit up the night
I felt as free as a midnight sprite
He was good this magic mystery man
Costumed he looked like Batman
His eyes captivated me, staring deeply
Capturing souls with intimate moves cheeky
I wanted to dance all night long even forever
I’d never before felt such depth of pleasure
Dancing under the stars on a moonlit night
Would forever be a monumental highlight
And though I never spoke his name
I knew him the instant he came
And we’d dance one more through the night
Dancing and frolicking but only until daylight
beautiful poem!
Why thank you so much.
I couldn’t find a place to respond, but I SO LOVED that, “give yourself the gift” of…wonderful indeed!
