A faceless entity he’d become

Fame long gone and the thrum

Of a crowd calling his name

His life open, becoming fair game

Never able to walk in a crowd

Only if his head he bowed

Now that life was long gone

His old life once again slipped on

Taking up a normal life

Held much joy, much less strife

Remembering his fleeting fame

Tied up in his forgotten stage name
