Glimmer

Glimmer

The rain forest, lush and green

With a vista, pristine and clean

Vibrant foliage, massive trees

Amid a fresh delightful breeze

A glimmer, a shimmer of light

Peeping through, with delight

Verdant growth glistening bright

Responding with joy, what a sight

Walking along a sandy beach

Salty sea air me did besiege

I’d rather be here than anywhere

For nothing else could ever compare

    1. Thank you very much, April. I was thinking about the walks through the bush here. Cape Scott in particular, but there are many. There’s one at Cameron Lake that is out of this world, with trees as large as the redwoods. Incredibly beautiful. Thank you for taking a walk with me πŸ™‚ that’s a bonus!

  1. Ah, what a beautiful view. Really wonderful write. I am so upset about what I just noticed… it said I was unsubscribed from your blog? I’m not sure why! I’ve been away lately because my computer completely died on me. I was stuck on the kid’s computers for two weeks while waiting for a new one… and they have Net Nanny blocking most everything. I just got the computer this week and logged in today to see I am no longer following you. I can guarantee you that was not done by me. I absolutely adore you and want to see what you share… just saying, in case you wonder. I see your blog looks different. I like it. Was your son able to fix up your blog the way you wanted? I hope it is working out better for you πŸ™‚ Hugs and you have not seen the last of me!

    1. Awe, Sumyanna, I wouldn’t think you would. I can’t say what happened. My son updated the blog, but then wp did a database update and lost 100’s yet again. This time I wasn’t one of them, but everyone has been affected, unable to click like or leave comments. It’s been an unmitigated disaster. I’m glad you found me. I check your blog daily to see if there’ s a new post. I don’t want and won’t lose you. Your words, your poetry are spectacular! Glad I’ve not seen the last of you, your too special to lose!
