A rivulet of sweat ran down his face

As he jogged with others in the foot race

One foot in front of the other he ran

I think I can, I think I can catch me if you can


Rivulet of sorrow washed away in time

Alone and saddened it was such a crime

Loosing a loved one, never meant to be

I wished I had you back, was my silent plea
