With each passing year, phenomenal
The changes and growth, remarkable
Little ones growing up tall and strong
Changes in thought and play, a song
Taller, smarter, more knowledge attained
As the wonders of the world, explained
Winning your heart over, that happy smile
As they describe what they learned while
Welcoming changes that come along
It truly is a remarkable phenomenon
Understanding of how the world works
You can almost see the wee fireworks
The pleasure that is contained therein
Twirling, dancing, explaining, a tail spin
As the delight at their accomplishment
The undertaking and acknowledgement
Sometimes as adults, change can be hard
Looked at with nervousness, not awed
Yet as children, something new acquired
Such a wonder, thoughtfully inspired

I welcome change too, as long as it doesn’t involve running, jumping, or mountain climbing. OR going to an airport.
lmao, I have to a agree whole heartedly!
