Sometimes aimless sometimes not

Placing us instantly on the spot

Feeling we should be involved

Hoping the situation can be resolved

So much we would do if we could

No we’re not applying for sainthood

Simply stating a recognizable fact

Outloud, sometimes without tact

Pulling together as a community

Hoping that an opportunity

Will come our way in which to be heard

Our voices strong, lines are not blurred

Each of us standing tall as an agent

Making a strong determined statement

Echoing o’er the distant mountain range

Hopefully affecting a needed urgent change
