Pastiche

He was a delight, a pastiche

His comedy when unleashed

A potpourri and total mix

An entire bag of new tricks

You never knew what he’d do

But hilarity would surely ensue

Politics, nonsense, always on his game

As each target he would then flame

His humour a blend, a composition

Including a handful of mortification

It made for a hilarious event

One many would often frequent

    1. I had to look it up, I had no recollection at all as to where it was used and what it meant. I have a vague recollection of hearing it once or twice and wondering about the word. i remember calling it pistachio as a kid, lol then I forgot it smirks broadly.

      1. I look up words all the time. Sometimes its one I never knew or one I’d forgotten. Sometimes it’s just to make sure I’m using it correctly.
