A speaker with such panache

With that handlebar moustache

A figure that stood apart

He could sell any work of art

Lining up for blocks to get in

To flaunt association, he had spin

A possible photo op could result

In instant fame in which to exult

He never seemed to tire

Accepting of his admirers

Even though often exhausted

He didn’t mind when accosted

It was all part of the game

He understood instant acclaim

And the need for wild fame

He laughed like a hyena
