We gaze upon a flower
As hungrily we devour
It’s beauty oh so fleeting
It has our heart beating
Our home once brand new
Exhibits signs as age ensues
Broken down porch swing
Now old and slightly dinged
Unwilling to accept reality
We search for immortality
A promised fountain of youth
Has sent many a dilligent sleuth
In search of it’s location
And many a narration
Of movies one the plot
As search of perfection sought
