The district contained a unique system

With high rollers constant competition

Casey was aware and very prepared

And to the old guard had declared

She’d change the status quo

For once they have to eat crow

The narrow-minded bigoted lot of them

That those with lower per capita income

Would be heard, their voices oh so loud

Raised to the heights in a mushroom cloud

Of determination strength and muster

With a united voice louder than a husker

That it was time for a change a reality check

They were no longer a dot or little speck

They had a goal their voices would be heard

Their chant no longer would be deferred
