Completely beyond delighted
Costumes were on, all in place
Happily prepared ready to embrace
Halloween ‘n trick or treat
Many new friends to meet
Laughter and giggles filled the air
They were ready for others to scare
At the bottom of the staircase
Everyone ready in their place
Shhh mom is coming get ready
Eyes full of glee, all so giddy
Let’s scare her, one two three
They jumped up full of glee
Oh my goodness you scared me
Your disguises perfect, guaranteed
