When is enough enough

And your wearing handcuffs

Tied to the past, it won’t let go

And you find yourself on tiptoe

Releasing of all that once was

The ephemeral weightless gauze

Holding you tightly in its silent web

Amid the constant flow and ebb

Of an ocean silent but oh so strong

Tossed about unsure where you belong

The heaviness pulling strong, fighting

To stay afloat and rise victorious shouting

Tomorrow is another day full of promise

Though I hear you call and pay homage

Once part of me I will not live in bondage

I will be free and no longer live as hostage

All A Dream
