November Notes – Sarah and Dipendra (John Mayall, Sensitive Kind)

That woman was special

Hiding all her exceptional

Virtues, behind a facade

Forever feeling so flawed

The right kind of man could

Reach down inside ‘n would

Be rewarded with a well of love

And always be assured of

Receiving far more than expected

Her inner beauty now reflected

No longer hidden and buried

Freed, she was no longer wary

Easy when you tell her you love her

Through whisper or kind gesture

Never a cruel harsh word spoken

That leaves her feeling heartbroken
