Answers to Anne Marie’s Questions :)

“Tales of a Family” author Anne Marie (and I don’t say so lightly) because her words are touching, loving, interesting and factual.  She gives us a glimpse into history, family, changes, encounters, delightful anecdotes and more.  If you haven’t taken the time or haven’t seen her blog, please drop by and enjoy.

Hmm….Questions…Questions…

Here are my three questions for my nominees:

  1. What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue?
  2. If you had unlimited funds to build a house that you would live in for the rest of your life, what would the finished house be like?
  3. What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?

Question one would be ongoing.  I love learning and I love new things.  I am currently attempting to make jewelry (quite a feet when you can’t see well) but satisfying for all that.  I’d want to get back to painting and photography and travel around the world looking for beautiful shots.

Question two, with unlimited funds, I’d build a house with a view of the ocean atop a hill with (an elevator as I can’t do stairs) with three ells so that one entire section could be for my daughter and family, with another for my son but with enough distance we could all share the grounds and view.  The house you pictured was beautiful, I doubt I could ask for anything more special than that one. I love eclectic so it would definitely be a mix of relaxation and a little edgy too with as many windows as I could possibly have.

Question three, what “something” everyone should do at least once in their lives?  Travel.  Travel to a destination that opens your eyes to the world’s possibilities, it’s beauty, it’s diversity because that is what I believe (outside of reading and learning) truly broadens your horizons and outlook on life.

Thank you so much, my dear friend, for nominating me for this.  My eyes have been giving me trouble so I haven’t been writing or online much the last week.  Hopefully, today’s a better day, and I couldn’t have awoken to a more delightful and welcome surprise.  Thank you!  🙂

  1. Hi Phillis. I too was asked these questions and I like how you handled them. I had not thought of the idea of building my family into the dream – but that would be wonderful as you described. Well done.

    1. Oh thank you. It was heartfelt. We currently live about 10 steps apart and we get along so well and interact always so my bigger dream would be the same, but with a view 🙂 Thank you for reading, Gary. I appreciate it very much.

  2. Hey lady! I hope your eyesight improves soon! Thank you for your kind words about my blog. I have been absent from my writing too. Work has been crazy!! Take care and Merry Christmas!
