Slime – Sheryl’s Daily Prompt

 In one bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon of Borax with 1/4 cup of water. 
Mix well and set aside to dissolve. In the other bowl, combine 1/4 cup
of glue with 1/4 cup of water. Stir until well combined.

Next add food coloring to your water and glue mixture and mix it well.
If you are using glitter this is the time to add it.

Green slime- 3 drops of green and 1 drop of yellow
Orange slime- three drops of yellow and 1 drop of red
Brown slime- 2 drops of green, 2 drops of red, and 2 drops of yellow.
Slowly add the water and Borax mixture to the glue mixture stirring
constantly. It will begin to thicken. Add the water and Borax mixture
to the glue and water mixture until you are satisfied with the slime

Note: If you are concerned with any remaining Borax on the slime after
the reaction with the glue, simply rinse it off with water. If the Borax still
concerns you, then check out other online slime recipes that substitute
baby powder, laundry detergent and cornstarch in place of the Borax.
This slime is not edible and should not be ingested. This slime may stain
or permanently slime clothing, rugs and furniture, so please supervise its

    1. Nor do I! It sticks to everything on occasion. Other times it comes off easily, depending on what it’s stuck on. My grandkids love it. Yeck and they make it quite regularly.
