As they walked, searching intently for other tell tail signs June asked, “Are all your men former cops?  Or are they dedicated searchers?”

“A little from column a and b.  I hand picked each man because I needed to make sure they’d meld together well, one’s strengths would compensate for any weakness in a given area by another team member.”

“I don’t know why, but I have a feeling Roland would have enjoyed participating in this, the searching.” She smiled before adding, “Doubt he’d be a great fit though since he doesn’t particularly like taking orders and then there’s the photo taking jaunts, but over-all, he’d get into this.”

Nigel smiled.  “Orders are a big part of what we do.  You follow them to the letter or people get injured or worse, die.”

June looked over at him, “I’m getting that.”

“How did you know that I was here?”

“I figured you were headstrong, doubted you’d stay put so I followed you.”

“I never heard a thing, certainly never saw you, your definitely stealthy.”

“That’s how it’s supposed to be.”

“Am I putting the guys in danger, my being here?  I know I slow you down, you’d probably cover twice the ground without watching over me.”

“Would you return to base if I said yes?”

“No, not now.  I’m in.  I want to find Roland, and so far I think I’ve proven my worth.”

“In many ways, you have.”  He agreed with a smile.
