Grad

She looked so beautiful in her gown and they were to take pictures at the waterfront and up on Sugarloaf Mountain, neither of which I could possibly manage, so she took time out of her busy schedule to stop and take pictures

It was a pleasure and an honour to go to my oldest granddaughter’s Cap and Gown on Thursday. It’ll go down in history as someone pulled the fire alarm before we were finished, there were only about 15 mins left but we had to evacuate as they couldn’t find the alarm that had been pulled. Fortunately, the vast majority had received their diplomas. I must say, the principle is hilarious, had a great sense of humour and was a real joy to listen to.

The end of one chapter and the beginning of another. I was fortunate enough to be in the delivery room when she was born and it’s been my honour to have had the pleasure of being a part of her life and the last 18 years have truly flown by. In the blink of an eye!

Next year, my 2nd oldest granddaughter graduates and that will be a pleasure too. After that, it’s awhile because the next two are 10 and 8 lol so we’ll see what happens then!, hey it’s only 6 more years!!!!!

If you follow me on FB you’ll see pictures there but I am unable to upload them to this platform. For some reason the camera doesn’t want to “handshake” with me. When and if I can, I’ll share a couple pictures because truly, it is a momentous moment 🙂

It seems like yesterday when my daughter graduated and here we are, at my granddaughter’s graduation! Wow time flies!
