Castlehaven By the Sea

Trent and Maggy woke the following morning wrapped in each other’s arms feeling contented and at peace.  Trent dropped a kiss on her forehead and pulled her close.  “You a breakfast fan?”

“Good because I have something special in store.  I make fantastic crepes and I have delicious fillings for each and..if that’s not enough, I make breakfast coffee to die for.”

“Goodness, you threaten to spoil me.”  Maggy smiled delightedly up into his eyes.

“Sounds good to me.”

Trent rose taking the blankets with him and walked unabashedly naked across the room and donned some shorts.  Damn the man had a body.  Lean, lightly muscled and she could see him gracing a calendar.  She sighed.  Ok, so it wasn’t deep, but he was so worth it.  Just then he looked back and noticed the glimmer of need and smiled.  “Later!”  he promised.

Maggy donned a shirt from his closet and joined him downstairs where he was preparing a feast.  “Oh my, I never expected this.”

“Dig in, it’s ready.”

They gathered their breakfast and headed outside to enjoy the garden.  “Mmm, I could sit here forever.  It’s so beautiful, the scents so exquisite!”

“It’s a beautiful spot to start or end the day,” Trent agreed secretly pleased at enjoying the moment and the space with her.

“How’s the writing going?”

“Oh you know, good and bad.  I think I’m onto something and I do a 160 and sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn’t.  I’m not too sure about where these characters are going…”
