Right now, I have to admit, I’m finding writing difficult. My mind and heart are filled with pain sorrow loss…for humanity in general.

Right now, I have to admit, I’m finding writing difficult. My mind and heart are filled with pain sorrow loss…for humanity in general.

I desperately want to write something entertaining or funny that takes us out of the dilemma we are in, something uplifting, something positive. At the moment, it’s a hard sell and a struggle. So if my writing isn’t up to snuff lately, at least you’ll know why.

ALL lives matter! That’s the truth in a nutshell and no one, NO ONE is better than another, the difference is that they’ve grown up in circumstances that allow them to behave differently.

If we as the human race could elevate our beliefs our thinking our actions to a higher plain and stop taking offense and seeing offense in everything that is said and done, it might be a start.

I am in no way mitigating the truth that there is hatred out there, an abundance of hatred toward anyone that is “different”. Everyone is angry and frustrated and hurting therefore striking out instead of reaching out.

I read once that we carry our ancestor’s pain and history in our genes and dna. Not sure if that’s true or not.

Ripping down statues, defacing destroying property, injuring maming and killing others isn’t the way to make change happen. It simply isolates us more. We need to come together as a people, as humanity if we are to survive. I remember when “We Are The World” was center stage. If only we could stand side by side and sing that heartfelt song and envelop it. Is it too late for that? I refuse to believe we are beyond redemption. I refuse to believe we can’t make change happen.

Sorry for the diatribe, but I wanted to clear my brain and hoped that if I wrote something, anything, it might help. I appreciate you all so much. You are a delight to know and interact with. Please take care!
